Data cabling in Wellingborough
Structured cabling for offices, shops and units — run tidily alongside your power and lighting, by the team already doing both.
Data Cabling
One team, one set of containment
Data cabling usually goes in at the same time as the power and the lighting, through the same walls and the same ceilings. Splitting it between two contractors is how you end up with cables draped over tray that was never sized for them.
We install structured cabling for offices, shops, units and industrial premises across Northamptonshire — outlets, cabinets, patching and the containment to carry it, planned in with the electrical installation rather than squeezed in afterwards.
Because the same team is doing the power, the segregation between mains and data is designed in from the start rather than argued about on site.

Common questions
Your questions, answered
The questions we are asked most about data cabling work. If yours isn't here, just ask — we don't charge for straight answers.
-
Can you install data cabling at the same time as the electrics?
Yes, and it is usually the sensible way to do it. The cabling runs through the same walls and ceilings as the power and lighting, so doing both together means one programme, one set of containment and one visit.
-
Do you install cabinets and patch panels?
Yes. We position cabinets, run the cabling back to them, terminate the patch panels and label the outlets so the rack makes sense to whoever works on it next.
-
Can you add points to an existing network?
Yes. Additional outlets can be run back to your existing cabinet, using the existing containment where there is room in it and extending it where there is not.
-
Can the work be done out of hours?
Yes. Cabling in a working office or shop is usually done in the evening or phased across visits so the premises can keep running.
-
What does data cabling cost?
It depends on the number of outlets, the distances and the containment needed, so we price each job individually. Quotes are free and carry no obligation.
