Are you Part P registered for domestic electrical work?
Yes. AHT Electrical Ltd is Part P registered and an NICEIC Domestic Installer, so notifiable work in your home is certified and registered properly. All of our work is carried out to the 18th Edition of the BS 7671 wiring regulations.

Do I get a certificate when the work is finished?
Yes. Every job is tested and certified on completion, and the certificate is handed over when we finish. Keep it safe — it is the paperwork a buyer, solicitor or insurer will ask for later.

What is an EICR, and do I need one as a landlord?
An Electrical Installation Condition Report is an inspection and test of the fixed wiring in a property, which reports on anything unsafe or not up to current standards. Landlords in England must have one carried out on rented homes at least every five years, and give a copy to their tenants. We carry out EICRs for homeowners, buyers and landlords with clear, jargon-free findings.
